What’s new
With every update we write down here what’s new, what changed and what was removed. The app updates itself as soon as you restart it.
Older entries were written for the German version of the app, so some names may read differently.
Version 0.12.0 Current
28 October 2026Questions and clips in English
New
- New setting “Stream language” under Settings › Questions for you. If you stream in English, the questions, random questions, cheat sheet suggestions and the review with titles and hashtags come in English.
- Over 150 English random questions of their own, written for English-speaking streams.
- In English streams, “Clip that” sets a highlight too.
Changed
- TalKI now also spots English questions in chat.
- The default is “Like the app”: if the app is in German, everything on stream stays German too.
Version 0.11.0
28 October 2026TalKI in English
New
- TalKI now speaks English too. The app automatically uses your Windows language. You can change it under Settings › Appearance › Language.
- This website is in English too. Switch with “EN” and “DE” at the top right.
Changed
- The questions for you, the random questions and the review after the stream are still in German for now. That’s coming next.
Version 0.10.2
29 October 2026New address: talki.live
New
- TalKI has its own address: talki.live. Everything is there as before: login, your account, download and “What’s new”.
Changed
- The old address copilot.bahnerdigital.de takes you to talki.live automatically. Your account and password stay the same, you just log in to the website once more.
- The links in the app now go to talki.live.
Version 0.10.1
28 October 2026Record the overlay for videos
New
- The overlay has a camera button. One click and the overlay shows up in recordings. Handy if you want to make a video about TalKI.
Changed
- Normally, recordings and viewers don’t see the overlay. When you close and reopen it, it’s hidden again automatically. Careful: while the camera button is on and OBS captures your whole screen, your viewers see it too.
- The overlay bar is a little wider so all buttons fit.
Version 0.10.0
27 October 2026Random questions for new topics
New
- New topic: every round, a random question joins the others that has nothing to do with what you just said. For example “What was your first phone?” or “Beach or mountains?”. So you never run out of things to talk about.
- The overlay and the Live page have a dice button. One click and a new random question is right at the top.
- Don’t like a random question? Mark it as not fitting on the Live page and it never comes back.
Changed
- Random questions don’t cost extra hours. If you don’t want them, switch them off in the settings for questions.
Version 0.9.1
27 October 2026Overlay size fixed
Fixed
- When you made the overlay bigger or smaller with its buttons, the main TalKI window grew with it. Now only the overlay changes.
Version 0.9.0
27 October 2026Clips in one click, facecam on top
New
- Clip in one click: next to every highlight there’s a pair of scissors. One click and the finished clip is in your folder. No editing needed.
- Vertical with facecam on top: TalKI remembers where your camera sits in OBS. In the clip, your face is on top and the game below, just like you know it from TikTok.
- After the stream, TalKI tells you how many highlights it found and takes you to your clips in one click.
Changed
- When saving, you choose between facecam on top, vertical full picture and original format. TalKI remembers your choice.
- If no camera is visible (for example fullscreen during Just Chatting), a normal vertical clip is saved.
Version 0.8.1
26 October 2026Fully transparent overlay
Changed
- The overlay is now fully transparent from the start: only the questions sit on top of the game, with a strong shadow so you can read them anywhere.
- The background button switches between none, semi-transparent and solid.
Fixed
- The background button in the overlay didn’t change anything.
Version 0.8.0
26 October 2026Overlay on top of your game
New
- Overlay: the questions for you and your thoughts sit transparently on top of the game. Handy if you only have one screen.
- Click-through: with one click (or Ctrl + Alt + O) your mouse goes through the overlay into the game. The same shortcut lets you use it again.
- You set the size and transparency of the overlay right in its bar.
- This page: from now on you can see what’s new with every update.
Changed
- Viewers normally don’t see the overlay, not even in a screen capture in OBS.
Version 0.7.0
26 October 2026Plans instead of credits
New
- Two plans: TalKI Lite (questions, cheat sheet, chat at a glance) and TalKI Pro (everything, including review and clips).
- During the beta you get TalKI Pro for free, with 40 stream hours a month.
- Your account page shows how many hours you’ve streamed this month.
Changed
- The app now shows how many hours you have left this month.
Removed
- Credits and balance. Nothing left to work out.
Version 0.6.0
26 October 2026New name: TalKI
New
- New look for the app and a new trailer on this website.
Changed
- “Stream-Co-Pilot” becomes TalKI. Your settings, your memory and your streams stay as they are.
Version 0.5.0
26 October 2026Questions for you and cheat sheet
New
- Questions for you: like a curious chat, TalKI asks you short questions about what you’re talking about roughly every minute.
- Cheat sheet as its own tab: write down what you want to talk about. On stream, your thoughts appear in turn with the questions.
- Clip from chat: when someone types “clip”, “clip das” or “highlight”, a highlight is set right away.
- Start after your waiting scene: TalKI only starts once you leave your “Starting soon” scene. Or only by button.
- Light, dark or like Windows: you can set it in the appearance settings.
- Microphone selection with level meter right on the Live page.
- You can see what TalKI is doing right now and what it understood last.
- Adjustable: how often questions come, tone, length and topics that are never asked about.
Changed
- The questions stay with what you’re talking about right now instead of topics from old streams.
- The buttons to start and for new questions are now highlighted in colour.
Removed
- The three topic cards during silence. The questions for you take their place.
Version 0.4.1
24 October 2026Storage at a glance
New
- New storage page: how much space recordings, clips and data take up, and clean up old recordings.
- Every stream shows whether it’s already in your cloud backup.
Version 0.4.0
24 October 2026Cloud backup
New
- Encrypted cloud backup for memory, highlights and transcripts. Only your app with your password can open it.
- Add your own highlights and delete old streams.
- Rate topics with thumbs up or down. TalKI learns what suits you.
- Mini window that always stays on top.
- Feedback button in the app.
Changed
- Ended your stream briefly and started again? That now stays one session.
- Re-running the review keeps what you changed yourself.
Version 0.3.0
23 October 2026Accounts and automatic updates
New
- Log in with your account from this website.
- The app installs new versions by itself, never during a stream.
Version 0.2.0
23 October 2026New look
New
- The app now looks like a real Windows 11 app.
- Streams with video preview, start and end adjustable to the second.
Version 0.1.0
23 October 2026The first test version
New
- Topics when it goes quiet, highlights by voice and ready-made vertical clips with subtitles after the stream.
