How do I get into the beta?
Enter your email address. We hand out spots bit by bit and then send you your invite code. With the code you create your account and download the app.
Does TalKI work in English?
Yes. The app, the questions TalKI asks you, the random questions and the review after the stream with titles and hashtags all work in English. You pick the language you stream in right in the app.
What do I need?
Windows 10 or 11, OBS Studio version 28 or later, a Twitch channel and a microphone. You don’t need a powerful PC: speech recognition and AI run on our server, not on your streaming PC.
Is TalKI listening all the time?
Only while it’s running. It starts with your stream in OBS and stops with it. Only the parts where you speak are sent for speech recognition.
Where is my data stored?
On your PC. The app also backs up memory, highlights and transcripts, encrypted, to your cloud backup. Only your app with your password can open it. That way nothing gets lost, and you can carry on from another PC. Videos and clips only stay on your PC.
What does TalKI cost?
During the beta, TalKI Pro is free. Later there will be two plans, Lite and Pro, with a fixed monthly price, cancel any month. No credits, no maths. We’ll set the prices together with our testers.
What’s the difference between Lite and Pro?
Lite helps you talk: questions about what you’re saying, cheat sheet and chat at a glance, up to 25 stream hours a month. Pro also does everything after the stream: review, automatic highlights and ready-made vertical clips with subtitles, up to 40 stream hours a month.
What happens when my hours run out?
Questions and speech recognition pause until the first of the next month. Highlights by hotkey, button and chat keep working. The app shows you in good time how many hours you have left.
Can my viewers see TalKI?
No. TalKI runs next to OBS or as an overlay on your screen, not in your stream. The overlay hides itself from screen captures. It works over games in windowed or borderless fullscreen.
Does it hear my guests on Discord?
No. TalKI only hears your own microphone.
Why does Windows warn me when installing?
The beta isn’t digitally signed yet, so Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
Is it available for Kick or YouTube?
Not yet. We’re starting with Twitch and OBS. More platforms will follow if the beta goes well.
