TalKI

TalKI. No more dead air.

TalKI listens along on your Twitch stream and asks you questions about what you’re talking about. After the stream, it cuts your best moments into clips for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

34 streamers applied for the beta after a single Instagram story from HeyLayz. The beta is free, for Twitch and OBS Studio on Windows, in English and German.

The app during a stream: questions for the streamer, below them a random question for a new topic and a thought from the cheat sheet, on the right the chat with questions, a clip request, new people and a raid

What TalKI does for you

Questions before it goes quiet

A short question roughly every minute about what you’re talking about. When a topic is done, roll the dice for a new one.

Even with just one screen

The questions sit on top of your game as an overlay. Your stream doesn’t show it.

Clips in one click

After the stream, TalKI finds your best moments. One click and the vertical clip is ready: facecam on top, game below, with subtitles.

Everything about TalKI: features, how it works, Lite and Pro

Built by two cousins

TalKI comes from HeyLayz, who streams on Twitch himself, and his cousin Madison from Bahner Digital, who builds the tech. HeyLayz tests every new version in his own streams. Many features came straight from there, like the clips with the facecam on top and the questions for a new topic.

We show how TalKI runs in a real stream on Instagram (in German). What’s new in every update is under What’s new.

Quick answers

Does TalKI work in English?

Yes. The app, the questions TalKI asks you, the random questions and the review after the stream with titles and hashtags all work in English. You pick the language you stream in right in the app.

What do I need?

Windows 10 or 11, OBS Studio version 28 or later, a Twitch channel and a microphone. You don’t need a powerful PC: speech recognition and AI run on our server, not on your streaming PC.

Is TalKI listening all the time?

Only while it’s running. It starts with your stream in OBS and stops with it. Only the parts where you speak are sent for speech recognition.

What does TalKI cost?

During the beta, TalKI Pro is free. Later there will be two plans, Lite and Pro, with a fixed monthly price, cancel any month. No credits, no maths. We’ll set the prices together with our testers.
